Tomorrow will be my grand parent's 57th wedding anniversary.
This is a picture of my grandmother's hand w/ that very same wedding ring from 57 years ago.
"I remember when this ring used to fit me better" she remarked while I was setting up for the shot.
"Seeing you, Ben.. The man that you are today, makes it all worth it. The good times and bad".
I'm sitting here with a tear in my eye
I love you both.

Both my grandparents have since passed away. My grandfather passed on Thanksgiving 2003, and my grandmother died a little bit more than a year later.
I still find it comforting to come here and see the comments that get left for this picture on an almost daily basis. It's touched a lot of people in a lot of ways.
I thank you all who enjoy this picture, and for those who are kind enough to leave a message and add it to your favs. You guys and gals make it just a little bit easier for me to think about them, and this picture.

No combination of words come to mind that could properly describe this piece. I simply advise you to read what the artist had to say.
I can not find enough words to describe what the picture makes me feel. This true love between your grandparents let me smile and cry at the same time. I'm not a religious people, but I think, they're still together and forever.
this picture has great sentimental value, until I can feel it. is something that gets in your head and will not come easily. I've never seen anything like it. congratulations, is the best photo I've ever seen. as well as aesthetically beautiful, it makes us feel something indefinable. I loved it!
