A woman that I share my cubical with at work (her 1st shift, me 2nd shift) put this flower on our desk a week ago.

I didn't actually think it was all that beautifull till today.

It had been sitting there for a few days w/o water and the leaves are starting to show it.

They are on the verge of just falling off.

So I brought my camera into work, and snapped this.

I didn't realize how cool it looked till i got home.



Full size is roughly 1 1/2 megs..

Modem users might find this a long download but I ASSURE you its worth it.

The lighting and background work quite well with this, I can almost feel the papery texture of the flower. :) (Smile) The vase is a bit blurry, but doesn't detract from the overall image. Good work.

This is a great shot, excellent detail in the petals, nice contrasts and lighting, almost looks like an artificial flower...good capture here.
